Keynote Speakers

The following keynote speakers will be at ViCE/PHEC 2012:

  • Prof Martyn Poliakoff, School of Chemistry, University of Nottingham: "From test tube to YouTube"
  • Dr Paul van Kampen, School of Physical Sciences, Dublin City University: "Creating, implementing, and validating educational materials for third-level science"
  • Dr David McGarvey, School of Physical and Geographical Sciences, Keele University: "Enhancing the student experience in undergraduate chemistry"

 

Martyn Poliakoff was the recipient of the Nyholm Prize for Education 2011.

Paul van Kampen was the recipient of the 2012 National Academy for the Integration of Research, Teaching and Learning (NAIRTL) National Award for Excellence in Teaching.

David McGarvey was the recipient of the 2011 RSC Higher Education Teaching Award.
